Special components in the rubber compound
When creating the rubber compound, a large number of new components were used, which improved the driving qualities of the tread. Silicon helped to increase resistance to wear, which significantly increased the mileage of the GT Radial GAR82 tire. Silica increased the elasticity of the rubber, increasing the grip characteristics on a wet road surface and reducing the time it takes for the tread to recover. This reduced the load on the suspension components and reduced maintenance costs for the vehicle's chassis. The new rubber compound made it possible to achieve an increased contact patch, which improved stability and handling.
New drainage system
Specially selected water-removing channels of various depths and shapes perform their task perfectly. They quickly remove water from the entire surface of the tread, preventing possible aquaplaning. The new lamella system provides minimal noise when moving, increasing the comfort of long-distance driving.
Special steel rings in the center of the carcass prevent possible tread ruptures and increase stability when driving in a straight line.
