The Dunlop SP247 commercial tire is designed for long and intensive operation on the trailer axles of high-capacity trucks. It is recommended for use in long-haul transportation over significant distances.
The tread pattern is made in the classic closed design for trailer tires with wide solid ribs. This solution significantly reduces rolling resistance, reducing fuel consumption and heat generation, as well as providing even distribution of the load, both on the carcass and on the road surface, which increases the tire's resistance to overload and abrasive wear. All longitudinal ribs contain lamellas, which allow for intense braking on wet pavement.
Key Features of Dunlop SP247
- closed tread pattern with wide longitudinal ribs reduces fuel consumption, increases tire mileage;
- lamellas allow for intense braking on wet pavement;
- all-steel carcass and increased tread thickness increase tire mileage due to the possibility of repeated restoration of the tread pattern.
