It contains five longitudinal ribs, separated from each other by very wide and deep drainage grooves. These wide tread elements, especially the shoulder areas, have practically equal sizes, which ensures a number of important advantages. First of all, this is the optimal distribution of external pressure on the contact patch. This, in turn, led to an increase in carrying capacity and reduced the likelihood of uneven wear. In addition, this feature allowed not only to maximize the contact patch but also to give it a practically rectangular shape, which had a very favorable effect on traction properties.
Multiple Lameles
Another distinctive feature of the tread pattern of this tire is the presence of a large number of lameles, which are located exclusively on the three longitudinal ribs in the central part. During movement, they form numerous traction edges, thanks to which maximum traction properties are ensured in the longitudinal direction. At the same time, most of them are located at a significant angle, which, firstly, reduces rolling resistance, and secondly, reduces the level of resonant noises and vibrations.
