Doublestar DSR566
Description Doublestar DSR566
The Doublestar DRS566 truck tire, thanks to its universal tread pattern, can be installed on any axle of both trucks and buses. Among other features of this model, it is worth noting the very low operating costs, which are ensured by excellent fuel efficiency and a very long service life.
Excellent directional stability
The tread pattern of the Doublestar DSR566 model consists of five main elements - longitudinal ribs, three of which are located in its central part, and two represent the shoulder zones. Due to their high resistance to dynamic deformation, the tire has excellent directional stability, and when installed on the steering axle, it provides fast and accurate reactions to the driver's actions.
Excellent traction properties in the longitudinal direction
As mentioned earlier, the central part of the tread pattern of this tire consists of three wide longitudinal ribs. Unlike the shoulder zones, these elements contain a large number of straight lamellas, which are mainly oriented transversely to the direction of movement. It is precisely because of them that numerous traction edges are formed, which provide the tire with high efficiency during acceleration and braking.
Rigid shoulder zones
A distinctive feature of the shoulder zones of the tread pattern of this model is the reinforced design. It is precisely due to this that the tire's contact patch has not only been maximally increased in size but also given a practically rectangular shape, which is characterized by optimal distribution of external pressure over the contact patch. This, in turn, significantly increases the tire's service life by reducing the likelihood of uneven wear development.
Main features of the Doublestar DSR566 tire
- universal tread pattern, which allows this tire to be installed on any axle of a truck or bus;
- excellent directional stability and fuel efficiency due to the five-rib design of the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern;
- drainage grooves with "stone ejectors" provide excellent traction on wet roads, as well as its constancy regardless of the characteristics of the road surface;
- numerous traction edges formed by straight lamellas, which are located on the surface of all three central longitudinal ribs.
