Doublestar DSR116
Description Doublestar DSR116
The Doublestar DSR116 tire is a deservedly popular choice among truck owners. This tire is a great example of an optimal combination of cost and quality. When developing this model, specialists took into account consumer wishes and focused on increased reliability and handling. To achieve this, it was necessary to use an updated rubber compound and a new drainage system, which minimizes possible aquaplaning.
Improved drainage system
When creating the drainage system of the Doublestar DSR116, a computer modeling method was used, which made it possible to select the optimal shape and structure of the channels. It consists of four deep channels and a large number of small channels and lamellas. The deep channels perform their task well, quickly removing water from the contact area. The small channels increase stability on a wet road surface, providing an "adhesion effect" with the road surface. The large number of lamellas reduces noise while driving, making long-distance driving as comfortable as possible. The branched drainage system allows water to be removed from the entire tread area, which increases stability and handling.
New rubber compound composition
To ensure optimal driving characteristics, a new rubber compound composition was used. Due to the increased silicon content, it was possible to increase the wear resistance of the tread. Therefore, the tire has an increased service life. The new silica helped make it more elastic, so the tire has fast recovery properties and increased grip on a wet road surface. Also, the new mixture reduced rolling resistance, which not only allowed reducing fuel consumption while driving but also improved stability during straight-line driving.
This tire will provide confident handling on any road surface.
Main features of the Doublestar DSR116 truck tire
- The branched drainage system allows for quick removal of water from the entire surface of the tire, preventing possible aquaplaning and increasing stability on a wet surface;
- Special components in the rubber compound have increased the wear resistance of the tread and improved the speed and braking characteristics of the tire;
- Reduced rolling resistance has improved stability while driving and reduced fuel consumption;
- A large number of lamellas have reduced noise while driving and increased grip on a wet road;
- The best ratio of cost and quality.
