The commercial tire Continental Scandinavia HTW2 is installed on the trailer axle. It is adapted for use on winter roads, where this model is characterized by excellent traction and directional stability for its class. It is also distinguished by its fuel efficiency and high mileage.
The tread part of the protector in the shoulder areas contains large rectangular blocks. They are connected to each other by special longitudinal "bridges". These elements increase the stiffness of this part of the tread, which in turn increases directional stability and reduces uneven wear. The tread pattern contains a large number of transverse edges. They have a wavy shape, increasing their length and, consequently, longitudinal traction on slippery roads.
