One of the distinctive features of the Continental HDR+ truck tire is its unique carcass design, designed to provide high reliability during operation. The carcass contains an increased number of layers of steel cord. Each layer is coated with a rubber compound, the composition of which is individual for each layer. This significantly adds flexibility to the tire carcass, allowing the tire to better absorb impact energy.
