The Compasal CPT76 truck tire is installed on the trailer axles of commercial vehicles with medium and high payload capacity. The size range includes 15 options for wheels with diameters from 17.5 to 22.5 inches. All have the M+S marking. This provides the models with a wide range of applications, allowing them to be used, among other things, on trucks that are operated year-round and in regional transportation.
Resistance to uneven wear
The tire is characterized by high resistance to uneven wear. This is largely ensured by the original design of the shoulder areas. They contain a continuous longitudinal groove of a wavy shape. The functionality of this element is to ensure even distribution of the vehicle's weight pressure across the contact patch. This property is further enhanced by the small radius of the tread profile in the shoulder areas.
Increased service life
In addition to the profile and wavy groove in the shoulder areas, the long service life of this tire is ensured by other design features. One of them is the proportionality of the sizes of the longitudinal tread ribs and the drainage grooves located between them. They also provide an even distribution of the load across the contact patch.
Stability of traction properties on wet pavement
In difficult weather conditions, the tire demonstrates very confident behavior. This is mainly ensured by the high efficiency of the drainage system. Its main elements are four deep and wide grooves between the longitudinal tread ribs. In addition to them, the traction properties on wet pavement are ensured by numerous slots located both longitudinally and transversely.
