Description Compasal CPS60
The key feature of the Compasal CPS60 tire is its versatility in application. The model can be installed on any axle of commercial vehicles. At the same time, the manufacturer offers it in a very wide range for such products - 13 options for wheels with a landing diameter from 16 to 22.5 inches. Of these, 11 sizes have the M+S marking, which means the possibility of operating the tire throughout the year.
Z-shaped tread ribs
The tread pattern is characterized by an original shape of the longitudinal ribs. It is Z-shaped, which achieves several advantages at once. One of them is increased efficiency on surfaces with a reduced coefficient of friction. The numerous angles on the lateral sides of the longitudinal ribs form a large number of sharp edges during movement, which are additionally arranged in different directions. This further enhances the performance of the tread, especially when there is a high risk of lateral skidding.
Open shoulder areas
The shoulder areas are distinguished by an open design. It is formed by numerous notches on the outside. These elements perform several functions at once. The most obvious of them is the improvement of traction properties on dirt and snow-covered surfaces. In addition, such notches significantly accelerate the removal of heat from the tire. The reduction in its heating during high-speed movement increases the service life of the tread and reduces rolling resistance.
Directional stability
All tread ribs are solid. This solution provides these elements with high resistance to deformation. As a result, directional stability is improved. With increasing speed, this effect is enhanced.
