The Compasal CPD85 truck tire has fairly specific operational properties. They are due to the scope of application of this model, which is designed for installation on the steering axle of trucks used for transportation on dirt roads with infrequent trips on paved roads.

Tread pattern for sand and mud

A distinctive feature of the tread pattern design is its openness. It is symmetrical and non-directional, and contains a large number of individual blocks that are distributed over several functional areas.

The blocks in the central part have a triangular shape and are connected to each other in pairs by rigid bridges. Additionally, they are arranged in such a way that when moving, a continuous longitudinal edge is formed. The combination of such features provides the tire with low rolling resistance, directional stability, and longitudinal traction properties.

The tread elements in the shoulder areas have a quadrangular shape and are combined into groups of two blocks each. At the same time, they are arranged in such a way that when moving, they form very long and high transverse traction edges of a V-shape. This design, on the one hand, provides the tire with high efficiency during longitudinal accelerations on dirt roads, and on the other hand, reduces wear and improves handling.

Special rubber compound

Another distinctive feature of the tire is the physico-chemical properties of the rubber compound used in the manufacture of the tread. It has increased stiffness and contains special polymeric compounds that provide excellent resistance to various mechanical damages, such as punctures and cuts. These substances, acting on the compound at the molecular level, increase its strength and elasticity.
