Description Chaoyang CR966
Chaoyang CR966 — a truck tire with a longitudinal tread pattern. The tread is divided into five ribs by four straight circumferential grooves. The central ribs are equipped with narrow transverse sipes, while the shoulder areas feature solid, continuous contact surfaces.
Longitudinal ribs and transverse sipes
The main grooves run continuously around the tire, clearly separating the central and shoulder zones. The narrow sipes in the center ribs are arranged at a slight angle and repeated along the rib length. They create additional transverse biting edges while maintaining the overall longitudinal tread structure.
Solid shoulder areas
Wide, continuous ribs are located at the edges of the tread. Their surface is not segmented by large transverse grooves into individual blocks. As a result, the tread pattern combines a more segmented central area with solid, uninterrupted shoulder strips. The outer contours of the shoulders smoothly transition into the tire sidewalls.
Key features of the Chaoyang CR966
