The commercial tire Bridgestone Duravis R-Steer 002 is installed on the steering axle of trucks. A universal model, equally well suited for use on both high-speed highways and rough and winding suburban roads. In addition to excellent driving characteristics for its class, it is characterized by an extended service life.
The tread pattern is distinguished by a fairly open design of the central part. Here, there are full-fledged separate blocks. The elements are arranged in groups, which forms long transverse edges in the contact patch. This significantly reduces the length of the braking distance on wet pavement. The central rib and shoulder areas, on the other hand, are made of solid elements. This allowed to reduce rolling resistance and wear, while ensuring precision handling.
