Description Bestrich BSR887
Bestrich BSR887 – a versatile model for a wide range of trucks. Its design combines aggressive grip with intelligent drainage and adaptive compound, ensuring predictable behavior on any surface.
Multi-block architecture
The tread pattern is a thoughtful mosaic of blocks with different geometries, grouped into several longitudinal ribs. Engineers have abandoned monotonous patches in favor of a combination of shapes, each performing its own role. The central ribs are formed from medium-sized elements that create a dense, almost continuous support zone. This provides directional stability on straight sections. The lateral and intermediate blocks have beveled edges and a variable pitch, which increases the total number of gripping edges. When accelerating and braking, these edges "bite" into the surface, ensuring efficient transmission of torque and reducing braking distance.
Drainage system
The heart of the water and mud removal system in the model is the three wide central channels connected to a multitude of transverse lamellae that exit directly into the shoulder areas. This branched network operates on the principle of an active pump. When the wheel rotates, water and slush are captured by the central grooves and pushed outward through the open lateral channels under pressure.
Protection against local wear
Thanks to the optimized profile and multi-radius curvature of the tread, the pressure inside is distributed as evenly as possible. This prevents the occurrence of stepped wear of the central blocks and uneven wear of the shoulders. As a result, the tyre retains its shape and operational qualities throughout its entire specified lifespan.
Key features of Bestrich BSR887:
- suitable for most modern trucks used in regional and interregional transportation;
- provides confident grip and handling on dry and wet asphalt, as well as on light off-road terrain;
- the combination of shapes and sizes of tread elements creates multiple gripping edges, guaranteeing high traction properties;
- three central channels in conjunction with open shoulder grooves ensure rapid evacuation of water and mud, preventing hydroplaning.
