The Belshina Bel-148M truck tire is favorably distinguished not only by its attractive cost, but also by its quite decent technical characteristics. One of the main changes is the appearance in the design of this tire of an all-steel frame, and in addition to it, a breaker made of steel cord. These elements gave this model not only increased load-carrying capacity, but also a number of other technical characteristics. Most of them are achieved due to the significant optimization of the distribution of external load on the contact patch, as well as increased resistance to dynamic deformation. First of all, this is fuel efficiency, which has improved by a quarter compared to the previous model, as well as increased resistance to uneven wear, punctures and cuts.

Wide contact patch

In addition to the optimized distribution of the external load, the contact patch of the Belshina Bel-148M is distinguished by a significant width. It was increased due to several technical solutions. One of them is a small radius of the tread profile, as well as massive dimensions of all five longitudinal ribs. In combination with the square shape of the contact patch, these design features significantly improve traction on dry roads.

Excellent traction on wet roads

The traction properties on wet roads are provided by numerous lamellas cut in all longitudinal ribs. They form a multitude of transverse edges of adhesion, which significantly improve the longitudinal traction characteristics. In turn, increased resistance to aquaplaning is achieved due to the large internal volume of drainage grooves.
