The Belshina Bel-124 truck tire was specially created for KAMAZ trucks. However, the Belarusian manufacturer allows the installation of this model on any axle of trucks and buses using tires with a similar mounting diameter. In addition, it is favorably distinguished by its excellent adaptability to surfaces of any type, as well as the possibility of year-round use.
Universal tread pattern
This model owes its wide range of applications to the tread pattern, which contains many individual blocks. Six longitudinal ribs are formed from them, if counted from the shoulder areas, which also consist of individual tread components. Such a tread pattern arrangement provides the tire with excellent performance, both on asphalt roads and off them, if operation is associated with frequent visits to dirt roads.
Rhombic tread blocks
As mentioned earlier, the Belshina Bel-124 tread pattern is distinguished by an open design, representing a multitude of individual blocks grouped into longitudinal ribs, which, in turn, form its central part. Due to this structure, the contact patch has a huge number of gripping edges, thanks to which the tire demonstrates excellent traction and coupling properties on slippery surfaces. At the same time, their location at a significant angle to the direction of movement provides good directional stability and reduced rolling resistance.
Excellent self-cleaning properties of the tread
This tire is perfect not only for asphalt roads but also for their dirt counterparts. All individual blocks have not only a large height but also are located at a significant distance from each other. This allows the tread to self-clean from solid soil particles that get stuck in it, thereby providing more confident behavior on off-road terrain.
