All-season truck tire Barnaul IP-184 has a fairly narrow scope of application. It was specially designed for all-wheel drive trucks KAMAZ-4310 and modifications developed on the basis of this model. Among the distinctive features of this tire, one should note the excellent cross-country ability on rough terrain and decent performance on paved roads.
Universality of application
Despite its long existence on the assembly line, this model still retains its relevance in our time, largely due to the V-shaped directional symmetric tread pattern. It consists of many separate blocks of a complex trapezoidal shape. During movement, they form a multitude of differently directed edges of adhesion, ensuring reliable behavior in any situation. At the same time, all corners of the blocks were smoothed, which made it possible to significantly reduce the noise level when moving on ordinary roads.
Outside of them, cross-country ability is provided by a multitude of powerful and highly developed mud hooks located in the wide shoulder areas of the tread. They have a composite structure, consisting of several blocks spaced at a minimum distance from each other. At the same time, the mud hooks themselves are located at a significant distance from each other. Such a structure of the shoulder areas made it possible to achieve excellent cross-country ability on loose and unstable soils, while reducing rolling resistance.
Excellent reliability in the most unfavorable conditions
Throughout the entire service life, the Barnaul IP-184 tire demonstrates excellent reliability. This is due to a number of factors, the most significant of which is the multi-layer carcass made on the basis of a all-metal cord. In addition, the tire is equipped with a camera, which gives it additional reliability when operating outside of paved roads. It is also impossible not to note the composition of the rubber mixture, which was selected taking into account the specific conditions of movement on rough terrain. Thanks to this, the tire has increased resistance to punctures, cuts, and abrasive wear.
