In the very center of it, there is a very wide longitudinal rib, which is distinguished by the complete absence of breaks throughout its length. Due to this design feature, this tread element has high resistance to deformation changes. Thanks to this, the tire Barnaul I-111A reacts almost instantly to any movement of the steering wheel, which greatly facilitates maneuvering in tight urban conditions.
The other two longitudinal ribs, also located in the central part of the tread, consist of many quadrangular blocks. During movement, they form a multitude of edges, which allows the tire to have excellent traction and coupling properties. At the same time, they are located at a significant angle relative to the direction of movement, which substantially reduces rolling resistance. In addition, the angles of the blocks are rounded, and they themselves are located with a different pitch relative to each other. This made it possible to significantly reduce the level of resonant noise and vibrations, which had a beneficial effect on the level of acoustic comfort.
