Description Austone ADR121
Model Austone ADR121 — an engineering response to the needs of intercity fleets operating in unstable road conditions. The tyre is certified to M+S and 3PMSF standards, confirming its performance not only in slush and mud but also at low temperatures. This allows fleets to abandon seasonal tyre changes on a significant part of their routes, reducing downtime and operating expenses.
Traction and reliability
The basis of the tread pattern is a special block structure with a developed network of lamellas. Each block is designed as an autonomous traction element. Its edges aggressively grip loose surfaces, and the notched lamellas increase the number of working edges on wet and icy asphalt. In tandem with this, four wide longitudinal channels work — their volume and configuration are designed for the fastest possible evacuation of water, slush, and mud, which radically reduces the risk of skidding and loss of control.
Reinforced cord and heat resistance
Long-distance travel conditions impose special requirements on fatigue strength. The tyre features a reinforced carcass with increased cord density and additional sidewall reinforcement. This solution provides resistance to sidewall cuts and minimal breaker deformation under high loads.
In parallel, a system of optimized heat dissipation has been introduced — due to the special profile of the internal layers and the thermal conductivity of materials, the working temperature has been reduced. This is critical for maintaining the integrity of the rubber on long hauls.
Anti-wear geometry
One of the key problems with tyres for driving axles is uneven wear. This issue has been addressed through the correction of the contact area at the design stage. The curvature of the tread and the stiffness of the blocks are selected to distribute the pressure as evenly as possible across the entire width. This provides:
- a reduction in the rate of abrasive wear and prevention of "stepped" wear;
- stable traction and braking characteristics.
Key features of Austone ADR121:
- all-season versatility ensures effective performance on snow, mud, and wet asphalt;
- developed blocks with lamellas provide reliable traction on unstable surfaces, and four deep grooves instantly drain water and slush;
- a carcass with a reinforced sidewall increases load capacity and resistance to mechanical damage characteristic of heavy intercity transportation;
- applicability on driving axles of large commercial vehicles.
