The Attar CITY A commercial tyre is designed for city buses and commercial vehicles. The model can be fitted on any axle and is intended for operation on paved routes with frequent stops and turns. Its construction combines a dense ribbed tread, water evacuation grooves, and a rubber compound resistant to wear and mechanical damage.
Stable road contact
Longitudinal ribs form a wide contact surface. Thin transverse sipes add grip edges while maintaining the density of the central tread area. The ribs support the tread under load and help maintain stable contact during braking and directional changes. This meets the demands of urban traffic, where straight sections constantly alternate with maneuvering.
Water drainage across the tread width
Longitudinal grooves between the ribs channel water away from the contact patch. In the central area, these grooves feature a zigzag bottom. The water evacuation system helps maintain grip on wet asphalt, while transverse sipes enhance the longitudinal tread edges. The tread pattern combines drainage cavities with a sufficiently large rubber surface area in direct contact with the road.
Durability in urban operating conditions
For CITY A, a high-strength elastic rubber compound is used. Resistance to wear and mechanical damage is particularly beneficial during frequent accelerations and braking under load. Wide shoulder areas without large transverse cuts support the edges of the tyre tread in turns and limit pattern movement. This combination of material and geometry is designed for prolonged use in urban traffic conditions.
