The commercial tire Atlander ATL08 is designed for use primarily on regional highways. It is installed on the driving axle of high-capacity trucks and special equipment based on them. It demonstrates the greatest efficiency on wet and snowy roads, distinguishing itself in such conditions with increased traction properties and stability.
The tread pattern is a combination of blocks. Their distribution along the longitudinal ribs reduces rolling resistance, ensures course stability during straight-line movement. The numerous edges formed by the blocks and lamellas make it possible to effectively realize the traction and braking effort on wet and snowy surfaces. A special "winter" rubber compound enhances this ability, maintaining the elasticity of the tread at low temperatures.
Key Features of Atlander ATL08
- "block" tread pattern with numerous lamellas provides excellent traction properties on snow and wet surfaces;
- "checkerboard" arrangement of tread elements and optimized tread profile increases the contact patch, reduces wear and rolling resistance;
- the rubber compound maintains elasticity at low temperatures, enhancing traction properties on winter roads
