Description Aeolus HN366+
The relevance of the Aeolus HN366+ cargo tire, considering the climate characteristics of our country, is hard to overestimate. After all, this model, being designed for installation on the driving axles of highway tractors, is adapted for operation in winter, which is evidenced by the M+S mark on its sidewalls. At the same time, the adaptation affected not only the design of the tread pattern but also the rubber compound, which retains a significant part of its elasticity even at very low temperatures.
"Winter" tread pattern
A key feature of the tread design of this tire is the increased number of gripping edges. They are formed by numerous tread blocks "assembled" into groups of two separate elements each. This solution made it possible to significantly improve the gripping properties on slippery roads covered with snow and ice without compromising other operational properties of the tire.
High load capacity and resistance to uneven wear
Among them are load capacity and resistance to uneven wear. The tread blocks, gathered in groups, to a large extent optimize the distribution of external pressure over the contact patch, making it more even. In this regard, it is impossible not to mention the reinforced construction of the carcass and the breaker, entirely made of very strong steel cord. In addition to optimizing the distribution of external load, this solution made it possible to significantly increase the carrying capacity of the tire, and therefore its load capacity.
Main features of Aeolus HN366+
- The tire design is adapted for winter operation;
- The tread pattern with an increased number of gripping edges provides confident behavior on any winter roads;
- The reinforced construction of the carcass and breaker, made of steel cord, increases the load capacity and resistance to uneven wear;
- The optimized compound composition allows it to retain elasticity even at very low temperatures.
