The Aeolus HN364 truck tire has a somewhat unusual application area compared to similar tire products designed for installation on the drive axles of highway tractors. The fact is that this model was created for operation in winter conditions. This is unequivocally hinted at by the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, which contains an increased number of gripping edges. Among other beneficial differences of this tire, it is worth noting a fairly attractive price-quality ratio, traditional for modern tire products from China.
Increased number of gripping edges
As mentioned earlier, the tread pattern of this model is distinguished by an increased content of gripping edges. They are formed due to the original design of the tread blocks. Also, the edges have a complex polygonal shape and a composite structure, being divided into two equal parts by lamellas. This allows for the formation of a huge number of contact zones during movement, a significant part of which is located transversely. As a result, the tire demonstrates excellent gripping properties in the longitudinal direction, which is clearly evident when driving on wet and snowy roads.
Excellent directional stability
All the above-mentioned individual blocks are located on the tread, distributed over six longitudinal ribs, two of which are shoulder zones. At the same time, they have high resistance to deformation not only due to their massive size but also due to the zigzag shape of the lamellas, which, when in contact with the road surface, make them even more rigid. All this allows the tire to demonstrate excellent directional stability at any speed.
Main features of Aeolus HN364
- the tire was specifically designed for operation in winter conditions on the drive axles of trucks;
- six longitudinal ribs provide excellent directional stability and reduced rolling resistance;
- low noise level due to the arrangement of blocks with different pitches relative to each other;
- an increased number of gripping edges, formed due to the numerous blocks and lamellas on their surface, provides the tire with excellent grip on wet roads and snow;
- a long service life is ensured by the increased tread depth, special components of the rubber compound, and high resistance to uneven wear.
