The Aeolus HN359 cargo tire, designed for installation on the driving axles of trucks, boasts an extremely attractive price-to-quality ratio. This model, despite its low cost, has very decent operational qualities, ranging from high traction and adhesion properties in any conditions to a very long service life.
Multi-rib symmetric non-directional tread pattern
This model features a tread pattern perfectly suited for operation on the driving axle of a truck. It contains six longitudinal ribs, each composed of numerous individual blocks, the shape and size of which vary significantly depending on the installation location.
In the central part, there are very small blocks, which is due to the need to provide a contact patch with as many adhesion edges as possible. The shoulder zones, in turn, contain very massive blocks, allowing for a significant increase in the size of the contact patch, giving it a practically rectangular shape, thereby ensuring more reliable adhesion and even distribution of external pressure.
Excellent resistance to aquaplaning
One of the advantages of the block structure of the tread pattern of this model is the possibility of equipping it with a very developed drainage system, consisting of numerous transverse and longitudinal grooves. In combination with the increased tread depth, this provides the tire with excellent resistance to aquaplaning, which significantly increases safety when driving in unfavorable weather conditions.
Key features of Aeolus HN359
- the tire is designed for all-season operation on the driving axles of trucks;
- excellent traction and adhesion properties on wet roads due to numerous adhesion edges formed by the multitude of small blocks located in the central part of the tread;
- massive blocks in the shoulder areas of the tread increase the contact patch and optimize the distribution of external pressure on it, improving adhesion and increasing resistance to uneven wear;
- the rubber compound, made from new modern components, provides excellent resistance to abrasive wear, while also featuring optimal elasticity over a wide temperature range.
