From the similar tire products released today by the Chinese company Aeolus, the cargo model ADC53 differs in a fairly specific scope of application. The fact is that it is designed for operation on the driving axles of dump trucks and other special wheeled vehicles used in the construction industry. The design features caused by this provide the tire with good performance on the most different types of coverage.
Universal tread pattern
The ability to operate on the most different types of coverage is largely provided by the tread pattern. Its design contains solutions inherent in both highway and off-road tires. In particular, the central longitudinal rib of the tread is distinguished by a significant width and a composite structure. It represents a multitude of separate blocks of complex polygonal shape, spaced apart from each other at a minimum distance. This solution, on the one hand, reduces rolling resistance, improves directional stability when moving at high speed, and on the other hand, increases longitudinal traction and coupling properties due to the presence of many very long transverse edges of coupling.
In turn, the shoulder areas of the tread are distinguished by an open design inherent in off-road tires, containing numerous separate elements. In the process of movement, they create a large number of very long coupling edges of curved shape. This gives the tire very high longitudinal traction and coupling properties, primarily on sandy and earthy surfaces.
