Advance GR-T — a cargo tyre that is the result of digital modelling and years of testing, designed to work on any axles of tractors and trailers. The model combines contradictory qualities: stiffness for directional stability and elasticity for comfort, aggressive tread pattern for grip and thoughtful geometry for reduced noise.
Tread and its structure
Here, three longitudinal ribs are laid, each with diagonal notches. This solution fundamentally changes the contact physics:
Central blocks work as independent stabilizers. They provide straight-line movement without "wandering" of the steering wheel, which is especially critical at high speeds when fully loaded. The lamellas increase the total length of the gripping edges, improving traction on wet surfaces. At the same time, such geometry does not disrupt the integrity of the centre's stiffness, maintaining the accuracy of the trajectory.
Closed shoulder zone
The tyre uses closed shoulders — a deliberate choice for highway transportation. These elements have an almost solid structure, which enhances lateral stiffness and serves as a protective barrier. Powerful shoulder zones absorb impacts from curbs, potholes, and foreign objects, protecting the sidewall from cuts and bulges.
Additionally, the closed design contributes to a reduction in aerodynamic noise — air flows do not "whistle" in open pockets, making the movement more comfortable.
Polymer protection against abrasive wear
The durability of the tyre is determined not only by the tread pattern but also by the chemistry. The compound is a multi-component elastomer enriched with a package of polymer modifiers and special fillers. The main accents of the recipe:
- thanks to the introduction of high-dispersion silica and modified rubbers, the rubber demonstrates low specific wear;
- polymer additives prevent the ageing of rubber during prolonged heating in the summer, which preserves elasticity and prevents the appearance of microcracks on the sidewalls.
This thoughtful chemical composition, enhanced by the carcass design, gives the tyre a high resource.
