Description Carlisle Multi Trac
When developing the Kenda K592 tyre, the Bearclaw model was taken as the basis, which even today, 20 years after the start of production, is considered one of the best. This model, like its famous predecessor, is characterised by its "omnivorous" attitude towards the type of ground cover, while also distinguishing itself with its lightness, increased strength, and load-carrying capacity.
Original V-shaped tread pattern
When creating this model, particular attention was paid to ensuring the widest possible range of applications. High efficiency on various types of ground cover was achieved through a thorough redesign of the tread pattern of the original Bearclaw. In its new version, it features massive V-shaped blocks in the central part, where they form a kind of longitudinal rib. The combination of these features gives the tyre reduced rolling resistance, good directional stability, and good traction properties.
It is also worth noting the non-trivial design of the shoulder areas of the tread. They also contain separate blocks, some of which are located on the sidewalls of the tyres. This solution not only improves the capability in deep snow and sandy terrain but also increases stability and reduces the likelihood of tipping over when driving on hard ground.
Reinforced 6-layer carcass
Another priority in the development of this model was to ensure minimal weight while maintaining reliability and significant strength. The combination of these operational properties is achieved through the use of a 6-layer carcass, each of which is made from synthetic materials. At the same time, the use of seamless winding technology ensures not only the absence of seams and joints but also a more dense arrangement of cord threads. As a result, the developers were able to significantly reduce the weight of the tyre while also giving it elasticity, resistance to punctures and cuts, and increased load-carrying capacity.
Key features of Kenda K592 Evo E-mark
- universal range of applications, thanks to the original tread pattern, which excels in performance on various types of ground cover;
- arrow-shaped tread blocks in the central part of the tread improve directional stability, reduce rolling resistance, and in the shoulder areas, increase capability in deep snow and reduce the likelihood of tipping over;
- a sturdy 6-layer carcass made from synthetic materials reduces the weight of the tyre, giving it increased reliability and load-carrying capacity.
