The first partner was the Hindustan Ambassador company, within the framework of cooperation with which the Morris car was released. Later, the Ambassador name was used in the creation of a new line of sedans, which became the company's hallmark.

One of the largest partners was General Motors, with which the company released several models of trucks, and in 1994, a joint venture General Motors India was established. At first, it started producing the Opel Astra model, but seeing its not-so-great popularity among consumers, it switched to the Opel Corsa.

Since 1998, the company has entered into an agreement with Mitsubishi. Under its terms, some models of the Japanese manufacturer began to be assembled at the company's factories for the domestic market. However, the high cost of the machines, despite their reliability, did not find intense popularity.

For ten years, Isuzu was also a partner of the company. Within the framework of cooperation, small trucks were produced. The cooperation was terminated in 1993, and the assembly lines were transferred to the production of power units, which were often used in the transport of manufacturers such as Ford, Opel, and others.

Production of special equipment

Hindustan's arsenal includes earthmoving equipment, the production of which started in 1984. 16 years later, it was sold to the well-known American company Caterpillar. Nevertheless, cooperation was organized, on the basis of which the American side purchases generators and diesel engines for special equipment.
