The founder of the Chinese brand Changhe was the aerospace conglomerate AVIC from the PRC. Seeking to develop production and expand the list of vehicles produced, in 1989, a contract was signed with the Japanese Suzuki. The result of such cooperation was the release of the CN 6320 minivan, the prototype of which was the model from the Japanese manufacturer Carry. Notably, it was created as early as 1979. Later, Chinese production also mastered the release of the updated 1985 sample. Over time, numerous restyling was carried out, which allowed Changhe to produce this minivan to this day. And since 1999, to expand the range, an agreement was signed to use the Wagon R - a passenger car from Suzuki - as the basis for a new model. In the PRC, it became known as the CH 7110 Changhe Beidouxing. Along with the copying of the Japanese automotive industry, the company also developed its own car - the Ideal CH7111, which was also successfully produced from 2005. The main area of sales was the domestic market, and only a small part was exported.

Now, the company is focusing its main efforts on promoting its new brand, Hafei, and associates its further development with it.
