Launched production of the first Russian automatic machine for tire studing
«DAVYDOVO tire manufacturing company» has developed and started producing the first domestic automatic machine for tire studs, named Studmatic. The project was implemented at the enterprise in the Orekhovo-Zuyevo city district of the Moscow region (formerly the Michelin tire plant Michelin), and the new equipment «ensures high-quality studding, fully comparable to leading foreign analogues», reports the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.
More than 1000 studding programs are provided without limitation on the number of studs, the machine's productivity is up to 110 studs per minute (1.8 per second) and depends on the type of tire, and the company notes that «Studmatic allows optimizing investments in technical equipment, reducing operating costs and simplifying maintenance due to uninterrupted access to spare parts and tools, as well as software updates».

The machine is capable of studding tires with a width of 145 to 350 mm and a mounting diameter of 13 to 22 inches. Compatibility with various stud designs is ensured, and the machine is suitable for studding tires of all types, and it is also possible to update the equipment and software to the next generation.
Currently, the company performs professional studding of a wide range of tires for passenger and commercial vehicles, as well as special equipment, and also engages in the restoration of commercial tires and produces rubber compounds according to the customer's recipes.
In 2026, it is planned to launch a line for the production of rubber crumb from recycled tires, and it is reported that the equipment is already being prepared for launch, and the project is being implemented with the support of the Industry Development Fund of the Moscow Region.
