In Japan, a new Bridgestone tire for motorsport is presented

Bridgestone has introduced new sports tires, Bridgestone Potenza RE-10D, which will replace the Potenza RE-09D model and are made using the latest technologies of the Japanese corporation, developed specifically for motorsports, according to the manufacturer's press service.

The new tires are made, in particular, using the Ultimat Eye simulation technology, which allows visualizing the loads in the contact area with the road surface and increasing the level of grip. In addition, the composition of the rubber mixture has been changed, which, according to the company, has improved handling on both dry and wet surfaces and helps to pass circles on the track faster. The tires meet the requirements of the Japanese Toyota Gazoo Racing GR86/BRZ Cup championship, where they are planned to be used.

Under the Potenza brand, the company releases sports tires designed for use on both public roads and racing tracks. Cooperation with Toyota Gazoo Racing GR86/BRZ Cup has been ongoing for a long time, and Bridgestone emphasizes that racing is a laboratory for the company where products can be tested in extreme conditions, and the developed technologies are subsequently used in the production of "civilian" tires.

Bridgestone's novelty was presented in the size 215/45 R17, and the recommended retail price from the manufacturer, including taxes, is 55.3 thousand yen (29.9 thousand rubles).
