In Volzhsky, the 10th anniversary of the release of the first Titan tire was celebrated
Voltair-Prom JSC is celebrating 10 years since the release of the first tire under the Titan brand, owned by the American company Titan International, which has been the managing investor of the domestic tire manufacturer since 2013.
The first Titan tire of Russian production was the agricultural Titan Hi-Traction Lug in size 520/85 R42, and the company emphasizes that "from the first day of production, full compliance of the finished products with Titan's global quality standards is ensured: all tires combine innovative technologies and proven solutions, providing an optimal balance of high performance and durability".

In 2015, the Titan Hi-Traction Lug also became the first Russian tire with a rim diameter of 42 inches, and its application area is the driving wheels of high-power tractors from such brands as John Deere, AGCO, CNH, etc. The tires have reinforced sidewalls with increased resistance to mechanical damage, while the tread pattern is designed to improve self-cleaning from dirt, and the special rubber compound reduces rolling resistance, increasing fuel efficiency. In addition, the durable compound in the central zone of the tread prevents premature wear during operation both in the field and on roads with a solid surface, and during the premiere, the manufacturer emphasized that the tires are able to maintain their characteristics even after several years of use under heavy loads.
"Over the 10 years, we have moved from the first tire to the localization of a whole model range of popular sizes of agricultural and industrial tires, — the company says. — Today, Titan is primarily a symbol of reliability and high efficiency in the agricultural sector".
