In Russia, a new production of sealant for tires is being launched
In the first quarter of 2026, "Titan-SM" (part of the "Titan" group), one of the leading domestic manufacturers of lubricants and auto chemicals, intends to launch the production of a tire sealant under the new brand "Antiprokol" at its facilities in Nizhny Novgorod.
The new sealant was created by "Titan-SM" specialists using a patented technology, and the company claims that "the unique formula provides reliable sealing of punctures and allows for continued movement over distances of up to several hundred kilometers without losing pressure - depending on operating conditions".
"The implementation of the project to produce automotive sealant is our response to the market demand, where there is currently a significant shortage of high-quality domestic solutions," noted Viktor Aleshin, Commercial Director of "Titan-SM". "We are not just filling a niche - we are offering a technological, reliable product that can compete with imported analogues."
Having studied consumer requests, the company plans to produce sealant in various packaging from industrial containers for B2B sales to compact packaging for retail customers. In addition, the new product will be produced in large batches to meet all customer needs.
"This is another step in the strategy of import substitution and strengthening the independence of the Russian automotive market. We are confident that "Antiprokol" will become a new standard of quality and accessibility in its category," Aleshin said.
