In Omsk, they plan to build a new truck tire plant

In Moscow, a working meeting was held between the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, and the Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko, according to the website of the Government of Russia.

It is noted that "the meeting discussed the implementation of investment projects in the region. One of them involves the construction of a tire plant for cargo transportation".

It is expected that "investments in the project will amount to several dozen billion rubles. The creation of such production meets the tasks of achieving technological sovereignty set by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin".

Recall that truck tires in Omsk are produced by the "Omskshina" plant, which is part of the "Cordiant" cluster.

The governor thanked Denis Manturov for his assistance in implementing Omsk initiatives, including the updating of the school bus fleet.
