In Yekaterinburg, they will deal with the elimination of a dump that the municipal commission found on the territory of the Sverdlovsk branch of Russian Railways. According to preliminary estimates, more than 100 thousand old tires have accumulated at the dump, and the owner of the site must remove the waste within 30 days. If this does not happen, a lawsuit will be filed, it is noted on the official portal of the city.

"For several years, the irresponsible contractor has not sent the tires for recycling, but threw them on the railway strip," said Vitaly Pershin, the head of the administration of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Yekaterinburg.

It is also reported that the fight against such dumps is being carried out in the city on a regular basis, and inspectors are making rounds of the districts, and the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology has purchased 100 photo traps, which are installed near the places of unauthorized waste disposal.

The fine is 5 thousand rubles, but a bill has been submitted to the State Duma to amend the Code of Administrative Offenses, which can increase its size tenfold.
