In accordance with the amended Traffic Rules, in Belarus in winter, only tires with the 3PMSF marking (a mountain with three peaks and a snowflake) and one of the designations M+S, M&S or M S can be used. This is reported by local media citing the words of Viktor Rotchenkov, the head of the main department of the State Traffic Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.

In winter, it will be impossible to operate tires that have only the All Seasons designation, and the innovation is positioned as a ban on all-season tires in the cold season, although many modern "all-season" tires now have both the M+S marking and the snowflake symbol.

According to the Belarusian traffic rules, from December 1 to March 1, cars must be used on winter tires, and a fine of up to one basic unit is provided for tires not matching the season - 42 Belarusian rubles (a little more than a thousand Russian rubles). If the driver violates the rules repeatedly within a year, the fine increases to two to five basic units.
