Toyota recalls nearly 12 thousand vehicles due to damaged tires
The American division of Toyota has begun the procedure for recalling 11,890 Sequoia SUVs and Tundra pickups produced between April and July 2024.
The reason for the recall is that the inner part of the front and rear tires on the passenger side could have been damaged during vehicle assembly. As a result, there is a risk that the tire pressure may drop sharply while driving, which creates a risk of losing control of the vehicle and an accident.
Toyota dealers will check the tires on vehicles from the specified batch and replace damaged ones, and owners will be informed about the recall in the coming weeks.
