Sales of new Yokohama highway tires have started

Yokohama Rubber announced the start of sales of new all-season highway tires Yokohama Geolandar H/T4 (G062), whose premiere took place in January at the Tokyo Auto Show. The tires have entered the markets of such countries as Australia, Thailand, and the USA, and in the future, they will be available for purchase all over the world, except for some regions. 

Geolandar H/T4 replaces the Geolandar H/T G056 model and is the fourth generation of highway-all-terrain tires from the Geolandar line, introduced in 1996. According to the manufacturer, in addition to the new tread pattern with large central blocks, reinforced shoulders, and a 5-stage configuration, a rubber compound composition has been developed that provides a balance between wet road grip, wear resistance, and fuel efficiency. For this reason, the tires not only can last longer when used on large vehicles but also provide a higher level of safety and energy efficiency compared to the previous generation tires, adds Yokohama.

The novelty has side walls with a different design, and you can choose which one will be visible after installation. In addition to the M+S marking on the sidewalls, there is also the E+ symbol, indicating that the tires are optimally suitable for electric vehicles. 

"Due to the growing demand for SUVs and pickups in the global market, Yokohama Rubber continues to increase sales of Geolandar family tires, which include models for operation in various conditions from city streets and highways to mud and snow," the company says. "In addition to the new Geolandar H/T4, the lineup currently also includes Geolandar H/T G056 tires with improved asphalt properties, Geolandar X-CV for high-power crossovers, and Geolandar CV G058 grand touring class" 

In the American market, Geolandar H/T4 is available in 62 sizes with a rim diameter from 15 to 22 inches and a warranty mileage of up to 110,000 km.
