Kumho Tire has become a supplier of tires for the factory-equipped Skoda Scala hatchback, which, as noted in the company, enjoys stable popularity in the European market due to its practicality and spacious salon.

For the Scala, Kumho Ecsta HS52 tires are supplied, optimized to increase the level of comfort, and, for example, the variable tread pitch reduces noise, and the pattern with enhanced blocks is modified to make the loads in the contact area more stable, which reduces impacts and improves ride smoothness. In addition, the asymmetric design is designed to provide optimal safety on both dry and wet surfaces, and the wide grooves accelerate water removal and reduce the risk of aquaplaning.

According to Kim In Soo, Executive Vice President of Kumho and Head of the OE Sales Division, "supplying tires for key Skoda models confirms our technological superiority and competitiveness in the global market".
