Studded tires Viatti Nordico 2 are available in six new sizes

Studded winter tires maintain a stable popularity in Russia, and the Nizhnekamsk-based Kama Tyres complex continues to develop its range in this segment, and not so long ago, six new sizes of the Viatti Nordico 2 tire were added to it: 185/70 R14, 185/60 R15, 185/55 R15, 185/65 R15, 225/45 R17, and 225/50 R17.

Viatti Nordico 2 replaced the Brina Nordico model, and one of the main differences is an 80% increase in the number of studs. The number of studding lines reaches 34, and the manufacturer claims that due to the numerous studs, the traction on ice and packed snow has been strengthened, while the rhomboid blocks in the central zone should improve directional stability, and the zigzag side surfaces of the tread elements create additional edges, increasing the level of safety in winter conditions. In addition, the pattern with open shoulder blades is designed, among other things, to increase the efficiency of acceleration and braking on snow-covered or icy surfaces.

"The winter season in Russia presents a wide range of requirements for tires - from operation on snowy surfaces to stable behavior with temperature changes," noted Timur Sharipov, Executive Director of TD "Kama". - Therefore, studded models continue to occupy a significant place in the choice of motorists, especially in regions where road conditions often change during the season and the risk of icing remains."

Nordico 2 is offered in sizes from 175/70 R14 to 225/45 R17.
