Continental tires approved for Nissan N7 electric sedan

The electric sedan Nissan N, designed for the Chinese market, comes equipped with premium summer tires Continental EcoContact 7 in size 235/45 R19, which received the highest rating for energy efficiency and noise level according to the European classification, the tire concern's press service reported.

The EcoContact 7 tire features a Silent Pattern tread pattern, optimized to reduce noise in frequencies typically generated in urban traffic conditions, which is important in terms of reducing noise pollution, while the carcass is made using materials that suppress internal friction and, consequently, rolling resistance (Smart Energy Casing technology), which increases the electric vehicle's range. In addition to this, similar to golf balls, the aerodynamic sidewalls of the tires are equipped with recesses that reduce air turbulence behind the wheel and also improve energy efficiency.

In the selected size, the tires have load and speed indices of 99Y, an reinforced XL construction, and rim protection.
