Bridgestone tires have been included in the updated Xiaomi SU7 configuration
The Chinese division of Bridgestone announced that the Bridgestone Turanza 6 tires, previously homologated for the Xiaomi SU7, have been approved for the recently unveiled updated version of the electric sedan, which features an increased range, among other things.
The tires have also been upgraded, with the tread being made from a new rubber compound that, according to Bridgestone, has significantly reduced rolling resistance and, consequently, energy loss during driving. Additionally, the Enliten technology is used, meaning the developers aimed to increase the durability of the tires and resource efficiency without compromising traction and safety, thereby contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions and the development of sustainable mobility, the company adds.

The tires are also made using the Luxblack technology, which creates a more saturated color of the sidewall elements, "further improving the overall appearance of the vehicle".
"As an important partner of Xiaomi Auto, the Bridgestone Corporation continues to expand the capabilities of Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers through technological innovations that improve the economy and handling of new energy vehicles, as well as enhance the level of safety and comfort for local consumers," Bridgestone said.
