The KamaTyresKZ tire plant (a joint venture of Russia's Tatneft and Kazakhstan's Allur group), located in the city of Saran, Karaganda region of Kazakhstan, has started supplying tires for the initial equipping of locally produced cars, and the other day the first batch of summer tires Attar S01 in the amount of 900 pieces was shipped to the car plant in Kostanay.

Before the start of deliveries, the tires underwent the mandatory homologation process, and the company emphasizes that the Saran plant uses 200% quality control - visual and automatic.

“Since September 16, the plant's products have started being supplied for the initial equipping of car plants in Kazakhstan,” said Radik Burganov, the plant's general director. “This is a significant event that highlights the high characteristics of Attar tires and their recognition. Such a step testifies to the trust in the quality of products and opens up new opportunities for the plant in the development of production. Supplying to the initial equipping reduces the dependence of Kazakhstan's automotive industry on imports and allows scaling up production”.

The plant started serial production of tires in June 2024, on July 15, the first batch of products was sent to dealer centers in Kazakhstan, and two days later, the first shipment of tires to Russia was made.

KamaTyresKZ is part of the Tatneft tire group along with Ikon Tyres (Russia) and BRZ (Uzbekistan).
