Sailun aims to achieve 100% use of environmentally friendly materials by 2050

Yuan Zhongxue, director of the National Engineering Research Center for Rubber and Tires and honorary chairman of the Sailun Group, announced the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the tire manufacturer during the recent 2024 China Rubber Conference. The SDGs aim to gradually increase the use of eco-friendly materials in tire production, reaching 40% by 2030 and 100% by 2050.

In addition, by 2030, Sailun intends to reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions per tire by 30 percent compared to the 2022 level.
