In late January, the company Sailun invited representatives of trading companies from Central and Eastern Europe to the Austrian town of Saalfelden to present three new tires at once: the winter Sailun Ice Blazer Alpine 2 and Ice Blazer Alpine Evo 2, both of which belong to the European type, i.e. are designed for regions with a mild climate, as well as the all-season Sailun Atrezzo 4 Seasons Ultra.

The Sailun Ice Blazer Alpine 2 belongs to the High Performance category and, as the manufacturer claims, surpasses the tires of the previous generation in all parameters, and its key features are high braking efficiency on wet roads and good resistance to aquaplaning, as well as improved controllability on snow and ice. The tires will be available in sizes with diameters from 13 to 17 inches and speed indices from T to V.

In turn, the Sailun Ice Blazer Alpine Evo 2 tire belongs to the UHP class and is designed for sports cars and crossovers (speed indices: from H to W), and compared to products of the previous generation, such parameters as handling and braking on wet and dry asphalt have been improved. In addition, since the number of lamellas has been increased by 30%, the level of grip and safety on snow and ice has increased, and the developers have also increased the tire resource and reduced rolling resistance. The novelty will be released in sizes with a landing diameter from 16 to 22 inches.

As for the Sailun Atrezzo 4 Seasons Ultra, the resistance to aquaplaning has been increased and the grip has been increased, both in summer and winter conditions. Additionally, the braking efficiency has increased, and the resource and fuel efficiency have also become better, and, as the manufacturer emphasizes, without compromising safety. The tires will be offered with diameters from 13 to 21 inches and speed indices from T to Y.

The presentation guests were able to evaluate the properties of the new tires, and, as one of them noted, "in terms of safety and efficiency, they are definitely comparable to products from traditionally leading brands on the market". "On the ice track, I felt like I was 19 again, and Sailun once again proved that their tires work great," added another test drive participant.

"We are very pleased that our new generation winter and all-season tires, which have even higher operational characteristics compared to previous models, were so well received by our partners and customers," said Harry Van, General Manager of Sailun Tyre Europe. "We are confident that they will receive the same assessment from end-users, i.e. European drivers."
