The Omsk plant's project for mining tires has passed the state expert review

The project of a plant for the production of large and super-large tires, which is planned to be built in the "Avangard" SEZ in Omsk, has received a positive conclusion from the state expert commission, reports RBC. Currently, tires of this category are not produced in Russia.

The plant is intended to be built by Avangard JSC, registered in Omsk, and it was previously reported that 41 billion rubles are planned to be invested in its creation, with the launch scheduled for the end of 2028. It is expected that more than 26 people will work at the enterprise.

Later, the Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko, stated that the investment will amount to almost 60 billion rubles. The plant plans to produce around 10.5 thousand tires per year.
