Prinx presented tires with color coding
Chinese company Prinx Chengshan Tire held a presentation in Beijing of passenger tires under its Prinx brand Prinx with colored elements on the sidewalls (similar products were previously presented, for example, by Pirelli), which "meet the desire of the younger generation to personalize their cars".
The new line, which "breaks the constraints of traditional tires", includes versions in three colors: blue ("cold and pure, like a glacier, capable of giving deep visual sensations"), yellow ("hot, like flame, radiating infinite vitality and passion") and green ("like the tender green of young leaves in early spring, blooming with hope").
The company emphasizes that Prinx tires from the new family also have improved operating characteristics, and, for example, the Silenteck technology (a sound-absorbing insert is located inside the tire) allows, according to the manufacturer, to reduce noise in the car cabin by 12.6 dB. In addition, the armored sidewalls increase the stability and strength of the tires when used at high speeds, and the colored elements are made using a technology that prevents fading and cracking of the sidewalls when exposed to ultraviolet and ozone.
As part of the presentation, a test drive was held, and Prinx says that "the bright colored sidewalls of the tires attracted the attention of many pedestrians".
