Well, and, of course, tire wear. It's no secret to anyone that winter tires have a unique rubber compound that retains its elasticity even at low temperatures. That's why at high temperatures it has increased wear. The ratio to summer tires can be roughly indicated as 1 to 3. The tread literally melts in summer conditions, and it's not worth talking about the increased loss of studs.

As for savings, the answer is obvious here. No savings on seasonal tire changes and even on a summer set of tires can compare to how quickly winter tires are consumed in summer conditions. In addition, one should not forget about safety and how much a traffic accident can cost.
