Petlas invests $360 million in new tire production facility

Petlas is investing $360 million in the construction of a new passenger car tire factory located next to the existing Turkish company's plant in Kırşehir. The new production line will produce 100,000 tons of tires for passenger and light commercial vehicles, increasing the plant's total capacity by 42% to 340,000 tons. 

This will create around 1,850 new jobs. Petlas plans to start construction of the new factory in 2023, with completion scheduled for 2024-25.
