On May 28, the first radial tire for passenger cars rolled off the production line at Sailun's plant in Indonesia, marking the "official start of production at Sailun's fourth overseas production base in Southeast Asia" and "another key step in the implementation of the globalization strategy", according to the company. In addition to Indonesia, Sailun has factories in Vietnam and Cambodia.
