On June 2, at the "Omsk Carbon Mogilev" plant in Belarus, which is part of the Russian holding "Omsk Carbon Group", a technological flow with a capacity of 60 thousand tons of products per year was launched, which has no analogues in Russia, Europe, and the USA, reports "Commercial News".

"Such powerful flows are very few in the world, no more than four, and all of them are located in the Asian region," noted the chairman of the board of directors of OOO "Omsktechuglerod" Valery Kaplunat. "For the European region, this technological flow is the first and so far the only one. This is a unique achievement of the management team of "Omsk Carbon Group" and the team of "Omsk Carbon Mogilev", which I sincerely congratulate everyone on. All divisions worked qualitatively and professionally, proving that our company is capable of solving the most complex technical tasks."

The design of the flow involved Belarusian and Chinese organizations, the construction was carried out by the general contractor OAO "Mogilevtechmontazh", and the commissioning was handled by "Omsk Carbon Mogilev" together with OAO "Trest Belpromnalkadka". All necessary permits were obtained and registration was passed in the industrial supervision authority.

The flow consists of two reactors, a high-performance drum, pulse filters, bunkers for finished products with two elevators, and two big-bag packaging lines. The height marks exceed 55 meters, so for the installation of non-standard equipment, tower cranes were used. Another feature of the new line is its equipment with energy-efficient equipment, including steam superheaters and heat recovery boilers.
